On this page you can find information about Prorail API Management and the Prorail API Management Developer Portal.

Visible / Available API's and API products:

Only after you login as an individual user or group, API's and API products become visible in the Prorail API Management Developer Portal.

Access to API for consumers:

  1. Locate the API you want on the API page or on the Product Details page and visit the API details page.

  2. Write down the contact email adres of the API owner / API provider

  3. Find the product the API is part of (it could be a single API can be be part of multiple products, you only need to finde one and request access to it).

  4. Make a choice between an individual (via developer portal) subscription request or a group (manual onboarding) subscription.

    1. Your subscription keys will be linked to the account you subscribe with. In some cases you or API providers could prefer to use a groupaccount.

    2. For an individual subscription: enter a name in the subscription fiels and press the subscribe button

    3. For a group subscription skip this step and continue with the next step

  5. Send additional information by email (emailaddres can be found on API details page) to the API owner / API provider containing

    1. Which subscription name and method (individual, existing group or new group) is requested

    2. Which API you need to access

    3. Why you need the access

    4. When you need the access

    5. Your entraid App registration which is going to be used or the request of a new one

  6. Implement the authentication / authorization headers

    1. APIM layer: Method subscription key in header

      1. Headername: Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key

    2. OAUTH2.0:

      1. Token endpoint: https://login.microsoftonline.com/a398fcff-8d2b-4930-a7f7-e1c99a108d77/oauth2/v2.0/token

      2. Headername: Authorization
